Dreams coming true

Last Sunday i went to Edu Fair for enquiries for Nottingham & Imu

Apparently, IMU isnt a good choice for me. For sure, i wont have a second thought of it cos the entry requirement are far more harder than what i knew from the brochure.

The lecturer was so straight forward to tell me that many of Cimp-ians dropped out in the 1st year. Thats sound even scary.

And dont think she expect to see me there T_T

The only choice left is University of Nottingham.

The course are more relevant to my future career since i dont need to be very professional .

Their conditions are quite considerable and the requirements are not as scary as IMU. At least they conduct a interview if i got lower percentage for my average results

I dont think i ll have any prob for interview since i have a dream and i have good reasons to get into uni ! :)

The only problem is i have to leave home.

I dont really mind leaving home. I m just worry for my parents who are so worry of me all of time.

They are afraid i might not ready to face these challenges yet.

They are afraid i might get too stress and fall sick again !

I tried very hard to ease their burden but dont seem it works. :(

I have about 4% to work on.

I only have 5 months .

Do you think i can do it ??

I m ready to take the challenge.

It may seem so easy for my friends since they are already graduate or semi graduate but it dont seem easy for me.

My dream is so near yet so far.

But i can feel that EUROPE is getting nearer to me !

To my dear susie, wait for me ! I ll be there soon !

As you know, i managed to conquered evil cancer by last year Jan.

Besides, i managed to travel alone to oz and kiwiland.

No one could understand how i feel ...

All i have now is an experience that no one had it before.

Afterall, it was a very challenging experience and it taught me a very very good lesson ! :)

On the other hand, dad provided me a very cosy and useful car.

It was so useful that i often go all the way to KL shopping.

sounds so spoilt la !

Actually i mostly drive the car to college and E.nopi centre.

hhmm..thts make me sounds like a good girl...

Teeheheheh..

My mummy eventually provided me a 66L oven which i think its able to accomodate a big turkey for xmas dinner huh ??!! hahaha

It was so useful that i often bake and cook non-stop which resulted me in gaining weight so dramatically T_T

I feel so bloated all the time larrrr !!

But i m contented enough to cook the food for the people i really love and appreciate.

At the same, i would feel really disappointed when someone throw the food i made. :S

My elder sis who are so generous who offered her accomodation in Dunedin which made me slept so comfortably like a pink pig :)

She brought me to look around Wellington and managed to bring me to watch Regina Spektor concert which i think its way tooo awesome !

She even brought me to eat the freshest fish&chip in a place which i dont remember the name now..hehehe

n not forgetting she brought me to Lake Tekapo which i named it as HEAVEN and i got to learn so many types of stars .

N i had a very good lesson in astronomy , of course a very yummy hot choc while star gazing !

I felt very sorry that i made you angry and worry so much about me.

Stunning Tasmania ! :)

I used to travel around with my family when i was young...

But i never get the chance to explore the tourism places properly since we always follow the tour guide that are provided by the travel agency.

After i had my long vacation to melbourne and New Zealand, i started to understand that travelling is not about staying in 4 or 5 stars hotel, having the most expensive food and flying with the most comfortable flight .

I started to change my mind.

Travelling is about learning to be independent and adapt to other countries' culture and environment.

We learn to read the map, experience their public transport, explore their culture and heritages.

I still remembered that i learnt to use a dunedin city map to look for science library.

At first, i didnt use the map and i kept calling my sister. After that, she was annoyed and ask me to pick up a map outside the university bookshop instead.

And so, i started to explore the map on my own. I find it was fresh and interesting experience.

In Bangkok, same thing happened on me.

I had my 1st experience of using their railway map and tried their BTS

Trust me ! Their trains are far more better than our LRT and KTM and much more advance :)

It was fun asking the local people about the busy city especially the Thailand students, they are really friendly and helpful !

For Melbourne, i worked very hard in planning the a week trip.

It was my 1st time flying alone and i have to manage for my trip very well financially.

I am quite disappointed cos i spent the last few hundreds on A/X ..Sigh

Should have spend it on mornington peninsula and billy train trip or something else...

I learnt my lesson. Never ever spend the money on shopping before finishing exploring the city.

Such a waste ! :(

The trip was quite a failure afterall..haha..except the Great Ocean Road :) :) :)

Besides, i enjoyed talking to strangers in foreign countries

Learning new language, making friends around had became one of my interest when i travel ..hahaha

I would really love to have a solo trip to Europe and Tasmania Island....

I cant describe how enthusiasm of me for Aussie animals in words.

My wish is to swim with pink dolphins and hugging Tasmania Devils and not forgetting wombat , koala bear, kangaroo

I really love the word ' Tasmania' and i had been talking and thinking about it over and over again.

Ah-huh..no wonder i had remember the wrong date for CT SCAN !! :(
Luckily my parents didnt scold me cos they are quite busy with new house ..*sweat*
I feel so terribly sorry to myself.
I really really need to make some changes !

i m SERIOUSLY having a big dilemma....

I have only two weeks to think whether to take one more extra subject next sem.

Eventually i only have to take chemistry but i heard tht lecturer is quite dull.

They suggested me to take World Issue becos its really interesting and i can have more knowledge.

One day, me and my piano teacher talked about time passed really fast when i was having piano class.
N then my piano teacher have a questions :

" Hmm...what is my biggest achievement of 2010? "

She answered that her biggest achievement was to give birth to her baby girl which the process was so painful. She managed to overcome the fear and pain.

I told her my biggest achievement of 2010 was I won in conquering cancer which was the most evil disease in this world. I love the year of 2010. I felt so proud tht i managed to overcome the pain !!! Oh well, thanks to my lovely family and friends...

And i got the chance to fly alone to Melbourne and then to New Zealand which i had a lot of fun there ! I would love to do it again ! I enjoy the year of 2010 !! I learnt alot of things and i had become more and more confident in my life !

I went for training and it was a very good experience for me :)

but actually i still love them
They are just like my "sons and daughters" n i m just like their "mother"
to be honest , i really enjoy guiding them in the maths and talking to them :D
i would probably miss my handsome, naughty Derrick and Lil Ke Xin and not forgetting the mischievous Hannah . OH, and Miss lil smart Yu Syuen .

BAck to my reality life.
Seeing those people i dont like again !
BAck to the place,
Where they stare at me weirdly.
Back to my busy life,
which i have to work harder to earn back my money .

Although shopping makes me happy but........

I miss my life in New Zealand
Which the ducks, sheeps made me happy all the time .
Nobody looked at me (except the asians, i wondered why )

WE went to the market in the Saturday morning
We spent our Sat night watching rented DVDs until late midnight
On Sunday morning, if the weather was sunny, we went tramping .
if not, we made our own Choc chip pancakes with caramelised bananas for breakfast.
and bake our fav cakes in the evening or loitering in the town :)
If we have the time in the noon, we could have drive the car to the beach and enjoyed the breeze andddd listened to the sound of wave.
During weekdays, i could have spent my time walking on the street,drinking a cup of French Vanilla Hot Chocolate, and waiting for my sis came back from her office.
And i ll wait until 5pm and walked with her to the nearest supermarket and home together.

The scenery that made my mind blank.
I could have stay longer if i have the time and money.

How much i wish i could go back to Dunedin.
A town with heaps of friendly people with good food !
A bunch of my sister's crazy friends who always protected me and made me laughed all the time !

Can i ? Can I ? go back to Dunedin and study , pleaseeeeeeeeeee ?? :)

The leftover.

After parents came back from nz, they gave me their leftover money.Poor me, have to use those leftover and save more again ! I seriously hope that Aussie dollars will drop ! So i can spend more . Not a curse okay ! So me tis lil poor traveller afford to spend more in Melbourne. I thought i would die of boredom in nz. Well, guess what ! My sis had found some great activities for me...Teehehehe.I am going to be a volunteer of Red Cross in Nz during these two months and join a trip to all over the nz .

But i have Rojak feeling lor. Thinking about leaving home for two months is a bit sad.Guaranteed, i ll definitely cry for homesick eventhough my sis will be with me . But travelling alone is really a brand new experience for me .I always wanted to try this but the opportunity had come, i gotta grab it right ??!! Just like Penny Tai's song lyrics :

I had done applied for my Visa. Melbourne map printed. Airasia air ticket printed. Jetstar air ticket printed. Sunglasses is always ready to use. Camera already prepared. Had prepared some sweaters but dont think enough. Aussie money still saving. Nz dollars are more than enough. Hmm...whatelse ? I dont need to worry about food cos daddy told me my fav SUBWAY are always available in every corner of western countries. haha..i guess i ll eat until i throw up k ?!!

CNY ?? Boring becos without my parents around.
I have so many things to take care of. Phew !!
Been spending the rest of the New Year with my relatives and the tasmanian devil in Pavilion
i feel so great after watching two movies and staying day till night in shopping malls without any interruption
i do what i want and i dont need to care what time should i goin home.

auntie Low knew my diet and made me this and she put the steamboat ingredients in separate bowl .ITs spinach noodles, i find it very delicious although i hate spinach the most.

I just watched Julie & Julia by Meryl Streep and Amy Adams and which i downloaded it last month. I knew this movie for a long time ago but i had been waiting and waiting but this movie was not released in m'sia. After watching Mamma Mia, i pretty like Meryl Streep acting . Ohyeah , she is a very talented actress. Hmm...will she get Oscar this year?? :) Amy Adam oso have short hair which i find it quite hard to believe it was her since last time she acted like a princess in Enchanted..hahahaha..

Eventually , the movie was about two stories of Julie Powell and Julia Child. One is about how Julia Child managed to become a famous chef and another one is about how Julie Powell struggles to cook 524 recipes in 365 days according to Julia Child's recipes and do something useful in her life after gave up so many times. If the movie was not release, i never know that Julia Child was such a talented chef :). She had a very very very thick recipes. I m quite fond of 40s' where Julia Child's life took places. I always think that Paris is a very good place to learn cooking and they have nice dessertsssssssssss :P.Well, parts of the movie especially Julie's part were quite boring because it was all her about her cooking and blogging life. but i like Julia's part better...haha..i rmb the scene that she chopped onions the most cos she dont wanna lost to guys..lol.....

After all, you ll know more about cooking and French culture. I think you should watch it. i would give 3 stars out of 5 stars..hehehe.

Brain & beauty , these are the two things tht i m being threaten all the time and just realised after i had conversations with my elder sis .well, if these two things u have to choose , what will you choose, BRAIN or BEAUTY ?? i dont know what i should choose to be honest lar

I dont have brain neither beauty. Is it important to have a smart brain and pretty face ??? I have no idea but my mum said as long as we have two eyes, a nose , a mouth, two ears , two normal hands and legs and and healthy body :). Living in such a realistic society , people tend to prefer beauty than brain.

I m pretty disappointed with this society ( i know i had been mentioned for so many times !!) . I had 73 kg when i was in my high school. u know, fast food OVERDOSED !! HAHaHa...I was not very active nor keen in these curricular activities. Indeed , i m a very bad student. Terribly BAD !! My seniors who werent fair seniors . They tend to give their friends high positions and give more priority to them. as for not-so-popular students have no chance to get a positions. U know pretty girls always get more intentions. If u are pretty, all the teachers, seniors, bosses will like you. They ll pay more attention to u instead of those not-so-popular person.In addition, most of the guys will run after pretty girls because they are all blind. Then they ll talk to pretty girls and belittle those not-so-pretty girls. Thats why i wasnt like to know new people because i truly understand that i ll be isolated. I would prefer to mix with those non-popular people because they are the one who need more friendship. When people are talking about how many As' they have got, what i have to do is remain silent because i m afraid that poeple will not befriend with me. I never have a good results and i have nothin to be proud of .

i know i m not as pretty as those stars . I m not a gentle girl who move so slow and talk so softly that people couldnt hear. i m not a good actress like those girls pretend in front of the guys . i speak whatever comes to my mind and i do whatever i think i should do. that why people say i m a cruel person. rmb, i was forced to be if not i dont know whether i can survive in this cruel society. I have no idea what is your true face and i m always having dilemma in deciding whether that person is a good one or a bad. I just want to be myself !!

Recently , i met a very typical Malaysian which i m not really satisfy of . There is this store, Miss Selfridge which i m had been their regular customers for years in Sunway Pyramid. So, i was testing this blouse for Size 12 (i normally wear Size 10 ) and this blouse is non-stretchable one. and then i found that i cant button up the blouse which the button was near to my breast( the rest of the body is fit ) Hence, i asked for Size 14. U know what the stupid staff said !! "Mayb u should try in Dorothy Perkins, we dont have size 14". such a humiliation in front of my fren !!! Duh !! Never mind, at least i can fit in the Size 12 now because that time i was too rush so i thought i couldnt. NExt time i ll wear to the store and show that bitch !!

I could really understand people who are overweight because i m too . our self-esteem is low and we have no confident to face most of the people. but some people never understand. When u walk around the KL shopping malls, please be notice that Malaysian girls like to give a weirdy look to other girls.. SO not manner la !!

Ohyea, another thing. I have no brain and beauty. I wonder why my fellow cousins are so threatened by me . If they are threatened by my elder sis's brain, i think its normal becos typical malaysians' girl are so full of jealousy.They cant bear with it when people are smarter or prettier... Aiyo !!My elder sis is being so nice to my cousins, even their eldest sis got married, my sis even sent a congratulation email and she dont seem to reply my sis mail for appreciation . This kind of person also got !! SEee !! SSEEE !! i got good example !! I m always making the first move to get along with my cousins, but i dont seem them co-operating with me. People are always complimenting them for being smart ,pretty, helpful....etc etc. If guys see them , i think they ll see them as a Goddess . Trust me...They look so innocent , so gentle...lol..this is all fake lar... i think there is a wall btw us , n i dont think we can improve in our relationships anymore because they are not making effort to befriend with us. They are always living in their own world which we siblings couldnt fit in. Frankly, i m threatened by their brain & beauty.

I just want a simple life. I wanna be myself.
